You don't need to just randomly think of words until you luck onto the solution. It's actually pretty much given to you directly:

There is a very strong visual clue on both boxes. It's the only thing written on them.

I was just trying to help the poster who said their English vocab was bad! The icons are Standby buttons; icons for Power buttons would have been more logical.....
